More Information

Our growing chiropractic clinic is seeking one (no longer 2, as we recently hired someone amazing!) energetic, passionate, inquisitive, and analytical Associate Chiropractor to join our team. Also, we'd love to have a male doctor join the team (but will consider every applicant equally). No doubt our large veteran patient population would appreciate a third fellow vet on staff, if you happen to be one. We are seeking to fill this role quickly, as we cannot accommodate our entire patient demand. Licensure in NM is not complicated. If you're graduating soon, and have already completed national boards, the timing is ideal!

At Colonias Chiropractic Center, myofascial care is the focus of our protocol, teaching and research, along with skilled spinal and joint manipulation, and some dry needling. You will learn additional ways to restore improved joint function in those patients who do not tolerate osseous manipulation. Our patients make changes more rapidly. Skilled myofascial care integrated with mobilization/manipulation helps the body reorganize rather than always going back to the same old patterns. With our protocols, not as much force is required to achieve good spinal manipulative releases. Knowledge of trigger points (mTrPs) also helps nail down the source or sources of a patient’s pain. Your patients will share with their family and friends that your care at Colonias is not like any other chiropractors they have been to, and your skills to help patients with severe or chronic disorders will grow.

This is a hands-on, patient-focused role where you’ll provide high-quality care using our specialized, research backed myofascial techniques - so a willingness to learn and adhere to our protocols is essential.

Why Join Us?
• Competitive pay (4k guaranteed base salary + 50% commission on receivables over 8k/month) with rapid patient-base growth on a pretty relaxed schedule. Paid weekly. Our associates are typically self-sustaining their own salary within 3 months, with our current patient demand this could likely drop to 2 months.
• Be part of an innovative, multi-disciplinary environment. We’d love to have you help to launch our upcoming non-profit teaching institute (which will also provide care to the local low-income population) and contribute to ongoing projects like online courses, social media, and clinic automation.
• Work in beautiful Taos, NM—a vibrant, low-density area with stunning landscapes, vibrant historical, cultural and art scene, outdoor activities, progressive feel, and a mild climate. NM also offers the potential for advanced practice licensure for chiropractors, with our association working on reigniting that program.
• Our multi-disciplinary clinic also includes: a visiting MD who provides additional therapies such as trigger point injections, and prolotherapy; a cold laser protocol clinic with stand-alone visits; massage therapy; and a visiting certified pedorthist who provides custom orthotics and consultation. Soon we're hoping to offer pilates.

We’re Looking For Someone Who:
• Thrives in a physically active, one-on-one patient care setting (this isn’t a desk job, but you’ll find it’s a chill job - our protocol allows us to treat an average of 12 patients per day, 15 max)
• Is coachable, team-oriented and excited to grow with us, and is interested in being invested and participating in our greater mission.
• Has a passion for bodywork beyond the rack-&-crack - learning new techniques, and contributing to bigger initiatives (teaching, and tech improvements).

If you’re a dynamic, compassionate chiropractor who is multi-dimensional and eager to grow in a collaborative environment, we’d love to meet you!
Apply with your resume and any additional info you’d like to share, about why you’d be a great fit. Seriously, we’ll happily watch your TikToks and read your blog….

We’re also happy to have anyone visit, at any time. We love sharing what we do.
