Dr. Victoria Phillips

Dr. Victoria was born and raised in North County San Diego. In her free time, she loves to run, attend Orangetheory Fitness classes, hang out at the beach with her husband and five-pound chihuahua, Carmelo, and ride her bike! She attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo for her undergrad, worked for her sorority right after college, and then applied to chiropractic college at Parker University.

Her dad is a chiropractor and he always told her that if she wanted to be a chiropractor, she should look into attending Parker University because of all the valuable business/practice principles he had learned going to Parker Seminars throughout the years.

Dr. Victoria met her husband, Dr. Alejandro, while they were both attending Parker University. They dated for one and a half years and then got married while they were both in tri-nine.

Dr. Victoria and Dr. Alejandro now practice together in Carlsbad, CA alongside Dr. Victoria’s dad, Dr. Jeff Phillips, and Dr. Victoria’s sister, Dr. Mikaela Phillips. Their practice truly is a family affair!

Dr. Alejandro Castaneda

Dr. Alejandro is a chiropractor, husband, soccer player, and an outdoors enthusiast! He was born and raised in Guatemala City and moved to Iowa to play soccer on a soccer scholarship in 2010. After two years of playing soccer at Upper Iowa University, he transferred to Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Florida to finish his degree in Exercise Science.

It was at Palm Beach Atlantic that he developed a passion for chiropractic! He was inspired to be a healing practitioner because when he was younger, being physically active was the most important thing to him. Later on in life, he had many injuries, and being healed with a nontraditional method was always so fascinating to him!

He believes being consistent with healthy eating, physical activity, removing unnecessary stress, and chiropractic care will help lead to a happier and healthier life!

Dr. Alejandro now lives in North County San Diego with his wife, Dr. Victoria, where they practice with Dr. Victoria’s dad and sister. When he is not in the office, you can find him on the beach or cruising around town on his e-bike.
