Biography

Since 1985, Dr. Mark Bronson has been involved in service to his profession largely through involvement within the Texas Chiropractic Association. He twice served as President of his district, then as a State Director and Board Member, and later as Coordinator for the organization’s Department of Scientific Affairs.

Since 1992, Dr. Bronson serves the Texas Department of Insurance, Division of Workers’ Compensation as a Designated Doctor with responsibility to evaluate on-the-job injury cases and examine injured workers to help settle disputes within the system. As a TDI/DWC faculty member he has taught impairment rating of the spine, upper extremity, and lower extremity, as well as musculoskeletal examination workshops. Additionally, he serves on the test development committee as a Subject Matter Expert.

Since 1996, Dr. Bronson serves as Chief Examiner for the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and recently on the committees for Parts III and IV test development.

On August 11th, 2016 Governor Greg Abbott appointed Dr. Mark Bronson as President of the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners. His involvement extends to service within the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards.
