This course, Don’t Misdiagnose Hypermobile Patients: Upper Cervical Instability, presented by Dr. Robert Rosenbaum, provides clinicians with critical insights into identifying and managing patients with hypermobility and conditions such as Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. Attendees will explore the prevalence of hypermobility in clinical populations, learn how to effectively utilize tools such as the Beighton score, and recognize key signs and symptoms associated with upper cervical instability.
The course emphasizes the importance of accurate assessment, including understanding radiographic indicators and neurological implications, to avoid misdiagnosis and inappropriate treatment.
