Completion of a 100 hour basic program is required. The course is open to licensed chiropractors and TRI-eligible chiropractic students.
Acupuncture is an ancient form of Chinese medicine that has been practiced for several 1000s of years. It involves the insertion of thin needles into specific points on the body to stimulate energy flow and promote healing. This advanced acupuncture program, goes beyond the basic program which focuses on principles and techniques of traditional acupuncture. This program dives deeper into the intricacies of Chinese medicine, focusing on a holistic approach to health and well-being.
One aspect that sets the advanced acupuncture program apart is its emphasis on herbal therapies. In traditional Chinese medicine, herbs are used in conjunction with acupuncture to enhance its effectiveness and provide additional healing benefits. Participants
are required to attend the full 100 hours and pass the course final exam with
75% or above. (There is a $125 retake fee if the end of course exam is not
passed.)
