This course covers essential aspects of comprehensive medical documentation and evaluation in clinical practice. Firstly, we define the Problem-Oriented Medical Record (POMR), a structured approach to healthcare documentation that focuses on addressing specific health issues in an organized and systematic manner. Participants will have the opportunity to enhance their skills by demonstrating the art of taking a complete patient history, a fundamental component of understanding a patient’s medical background and aiding in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Understanding the concept of outcome assessments in clinical practice is critical, and we delve into methods that allow practitioners to measure treatment effectiveness and patient progress.
