X-ray Technologist Toms River, NJ
We are looking for a motivated X-ray Technologist to join our team full time in our urgent care center in Toms River, NJ. We are looking for someone that can join our group, providing patient services using imaging modalities and performing radiographic procedures, help with front desk duties, and assisting the medical team/providers and administration to help ensure the best, most comprehensive patient care. Our ideal candidate is a friendly and motivated person ready to assist in helping others, is a great communicator, and a team player. We have other clinics in Brick, NJ and the incoming tech may provide coverage at our other locations.

Job Duties:
• Prepare patients for x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety
• Exercise professional judgment and provide patient care essential to the radiology procedures
• Position patients and Obtain x-rays-Obtain quality diagnostic radiographs as requested by providers, including orthopedic images
• Assist other staff members (Medical Assistants, Front Desk Associates, Providers) as needed
• Maintain exam and x-ray rooms
• Stock medical/radiologic supplies
• Help with front desk duties
• Supports staff by promptly following orders, operating equipment to acquire images for diagnosis and treatment of patients
• Assist medical and administrative staff when necessary
Requirements:
• Diagnostic Radiography license with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Licensed in the state of NJ
• Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette
• Must be available to work evenings and weekends
Schedule:
• 3 x 12s with Weekend availability (Weekend hours are 9-3)
Salary (range):
• $30-$39 per hour
