Medical Sales Consultant Birmingham, AL

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Sales Consultant to join our medical practice full time in Birmingham, AL. Do you have sales experience, understand people, and love helping others? Are you energetic, have a positive attitude and ready to grow into a sales position in a busy fast paced medical office? Do you enjoy goal oriented, commission driven income and value the understanding of sales? Then we want you and your unique skills to join our reputable, knowledgeable, and well-respected team! We are looking for a sales consultant/case manager to promote our in-office therapies and treatment protocols. We prefer the incoming sales consultant be experienced in sales and/or sales management, preferably in the medical field.
• Consultations and building rapport with clients
• Financial presentations with patients
• Scheduling treatment plans for patients
• Reviewing Doctor findings and plan of care with the patients
• Collecting Patient Payments at time of visit
• Making reminder calls and sending texts
• Calling Doctors’ offices to collect patient documents
• Getting Patient Authorizations
• Communicating any issues that arise
• Occasionally help with modality set ups (decompression / electric stim / ultrasound)
• Confirm appointments before 10 am
• Schedule all ROF appointments
• Answer inbound calls
• Review and drill scripts daily
• Facilitate new enrollment inductions.
• Maintain an UP TONE front office environment
• Input stats daily
• Ensure all notes are correctly inputted in Electronic Health Records and Schedules
• Ensure gross income log is maintained and correct at all times
• Make outbound calls
• Send letters
• Ensure paperwork and financials are created before the first visit
• Complete daily check sheet
• Experienced in Sales preferred (Medical sales a plus)
• Professional and reliable
• Monday thru Friday (Friday hours end at 11 am)
Compensation (range):
• $35,000 - $60,000 (Average base with performance pay)
