The chiropractic assistant will be working one on one with patients, supervising and teaching correct posture rehab, strengthening/stretching exercises and restorative techniques. You will be able to assist our doctors with direct patient contact therapy, including therapeutic ultrasound, electrical stimulation, myotherapy techniques, mechanical traction and other therapy modalities. You will also have the opportunity to learn some of the ins-and-outs of a medical office through other duties including collating files, cleaning and sanitizing the office and equipment, basic computer tasks and processing x-rays.
This is a good opportunity for student spouse with kinesiology background that wants clinic experience and would like to help run clinic upon graduation.

REQUIREMENTS
Must have a degree, training or certification in one of the following:
• Kinesiology (degree required)
• Chiropractic intern (non-licensed)
• Exercise therapy
• Physical therapy assistant
• Certified personal trainer Certified P.E. teacher or fitness instructor

*MUST BELIEVE IN CHIROPRACTIC AS A HEALING ART* This is a physical job with very little sitting. You must be able to be on your feet for multiple hours at a time. *Knowledge of anatomy and muscle movement is essential. * Any other necessary training will be provided to the right candidate.
Position is full-time, 38-40 hours a week. (3 full days and 3 half days). *
The hours are approximately:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8:30am to 6:30pm (with a 1 to 1 ½ hour lunch break)
Wednesday 1:30 to 7pm
Friday and Saturday 8:30am to 1pm
*We will consider a job share with two candidates for 8:30-1:00 & 2:00-close shifts.
We are closed one Saturday monthly and come in that Wednesday morning for a staff meeting/workday.
It is recommended that the applicant live within 30 minutes of the office.
Pay dependent on education and experience.
