By the end of this lecture you will be able to understand the primary concept of the 3 P’s of Oxygen. Partial Pressure, Percentage, and Perfusion within the body. The hazardous nature of Oxygen will be reviewed including ways to make your practice safer involving oxygen. You will also understand Oxygen pharmacokinetics in a hyperbaric and hypobaric environment and delivery methods. Finally, you will understand conditions under which oxygen transport does not solve medical problems and have a concept of false hyperbarics.
